Description: Kalona can best be described as a fallen angel. When he first visited the Cherokee people he was welcomed as a visiting god. After the first time he bedded a maiden, he became obsessed. He craved women and hated them for causing him to feel such lust. Kalona became a monster when the women turned from him, and he began to rape them. The women became pregnant, and most gave birth to dead things. (U)
